No idea why such a sign is necessary. Perhaps it implies that in other toilets where reclaimed water is not used, then one can drink it from the bowl ???

Notice the dual flush feature on that public toilet because of those two buttons on the auto flusher. Looks like that will save a lot of water, but with the auto flush, I don't think so because they can flush when you don't want them to, which can waste a ton of water.
