Bucket 1will never fill as all water flows into bucket 3. The lower outlet from bucket 3 is blocked, so all water from bucket 3 flows from the upper outlet into bucket 5. Therefore bucket 5 fills first.
(A) The openings for Buckets 4; 5; and 6 to get the supply of water are blocked and therefore do not have access to the supply of water. So they are out. (B) Now Buckets 1; 2; 3; and 7 have access to the flow of water.
